My blogs are really irregular now…
I’m gonna tell you all about my weekend.
It was funny.
Saturday, we went to Stevenage because it was my Auntie Betty’s birthday, and some of my family came down from Swansea.
Listening to welsh people, well not all welsh people, it could actually just be my family but hearing them talk to each other is so funny, they make little sense and repeat alot of words and make up words and stick words in where they don’t need to be stuck.
They also talk so much that they can’t actually make decent cups of tea.
When you’re with my family there’s literally a laugh a minute. I found out this weekend how racist my family actually are. The title of this blog is a quote of my Auntie Betty.
She was telling us about when she lived in Brixton, and had an African family or as she referred to them as a ‘family of blacks’ living next door and they kept hanging washing on her line, and she said to them ‘if you keep hanging you’re bloody washing on my line, I’ll scold you’ so after that she put boiling pots of water under her washing line to show that she was being serious. A few years after, she moved in Brixton and she told us she had to play ‘spot the white family’ where she lived because they were all ‘cowing foreigners’ and they were all noisy so one night, she went round and chased them all with her hammer and bashed it on the floors to show she could be noisier than them!
She said many other funny and very racist things that I won’t mention because I couldn’t believe what she was saying. It was funny.
All week Betty made a big deal about a ham she had that she was going to feed us, we got there sat down to eat and she asked me and my sister ‘do you like sausages?’ so we had sausage, spaghetti and chips, and as we were eating it she said ‘there is ham if you wanted it…’
Oh Auntie Betty..
That evening we stayed at my mum’s cousins’ Trisha and Alb’s house. My mother - as she seems to do when we stay with family, got me rather drunk and we then had a very deep chat, as we do. It was nice.
On Sunday we went for a meal with everyone… Auntie Betty, Uncle Jimmy, one of their sons Robert, his wife Tracey and as my mum’s cousin (who thinks he’s my uncle) Alan calls them - the Cray twins. My Uncle Winston and his wife Teresa, who we call Cruella Deville, then Janice and Nikita, and the 3 Leighton-Careys.
It was an odd meal. As are all meals with our family, talk of my uncle doing illegal things, some crazy random lady coming up to us and lying about her age and various other things…
After that we went home, I read a large amount of A Clash of Kings in the car and then watched My Murder, Outnumbered and half of One Night when I got in, meaning I didn’t go to bed til late, but I was super awake so watched Lord of the Rings, and forgot how long that is and then didn’t sleep til silly ‘o clock.
There was no point in me actually sleeping.
Monday we went to my Grandparents for dinner.
We had to watch Deal or No Deal because it was the second episode we were in on Saturday and only my Gran knew, and as my Grandma does made a bigger deal about watching it than was needed and then we ate lovely dinner and chatted about various things. My Gran is seriously funny and she doesn’t even realise it. Spending time with them is the bestestestestest.
Various things being anything from road signs, to their wheelie bin to Josh Lewis.
He’s often a big topic with my Grandad because they soon hope to play chess together. One thing I haven’t told him about Joshua is that he has a jumper fetish. He asked me to write about him and his jumper fetish in my blog today, which I would happily do anyway.

There you go, you can all have the pleasure of looking at the most adorable picture and person in the world, it highlights Winter’s jumper fetish and from me looking at it, it shows me how amazing he is. and that I always get lucky in the best friend department. If I could carry him round with me all of the time I would, he makes me so happy, all of the time.
That’s it for this blog I think, that’s everything I want to waffle about for now.
Also I hit 10 followers, double digits, tehe.
